In the Veneto region there are Companies which are leader in producing excellent textiles, for both male and female clothing, appreciated by famous Italian and international brands.
Their excellent fabrics are certified “Ready for the Needle” for most prestigious clients with the constant goal of maintaining their business in the international market.
They can be considered visionary leaders because they have brought art and artists into the Companies, transforming the organization and the productive processes according to a softer, fluctuating, flexible logic typical of the ‘Fluxux Movement’ and oriented more towards creativity than business.
In particular, one of those Companies has wanted to preserve the tradition of the craftsmanship, so then they have bought a set of ten ancient looms, dated more than 50 years, building the ‘Slow Factory’ where each garment is realized with the ancient techniques of weaving.
The ‘Slow Factory’ is interested to return to production forms that have not been altered by the fever of productivity at all costs. For this reason old-fashioned technologies adopted capture more interesting tactile and visual sensations, real textures and fabrics, respectful of their nature and privacy.
Now the Company can boast a business of € 32 million and, only in few ten years, it reaches 250 employees with the total number of 2400 including all satellite farms.
The Company serves international brands as Yves Saint Lauren, Gucci, Hermes, Vuitton, Ugo Boss, Marni and Marella.
