PROGRAM
DAY 1: arrival in ROME
- Arrival at the airport of Rome Fiumicino. Meeting with tour leader and private driver.
- Hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: ROME
- First part of the guided tour in the heart of the city of Rome: St. Peter’s Basilica, the late Renaissance Church located within Vatican City, center of the Christianity in the world.
- Lunch in a restaurant.
- Second part of the guided tour: Vatican Museums with the famous Sistine Chapel.
- Dinner in a typical restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 3: ROME
- Free tour in the heart of the city of Rome: Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna. The visit of Via dei Condotti, the center of fashion shopping in Rome with the ‘Antico Caffè Greco’. It is the most ancient bar in Rome, famous for making coffee water ices, where VIP and well-known people from all over the world had coffee there.
- Lunch in a restaurant.
- Afternoon guided tour: Fori Romani and Colosseo.
- Dinner in a typical restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 4: ROME
- Guided tour of permanent sets in the Cinecittà Studios with the purpose of well-know the tradition of Italian cinema through a cultural entertainment.
- Lunch in a restaurant.
- In the afternoon, guided tour of the places which made Rome immortal from a new and original perspective, on board of double-decker buses.
- Dinner in a typical restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 5: arrival in FLORENCE
- Morning arrival in Florence with tour leader.
- Hotel accommodation. Lunch in a restaurant.
- In the afternoon, guided tour in the heart of the city of Florence: Duomo with Giotto’s Bell Tower and Brunelleschi’s Baptistery and Cupola, Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza Pitti.
- Dinner in a restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 6: FLORENCE
- Morning guided tour: Piazza della Signoria and ‘Galleria degli Uffizi’, one of the most famous museums in the world given the rich amount of unique artworks and masterpieces conserved within its walls, the majority from the Renaissance period.
- Lunch in a restaurant.
- In the afternoon, free tour in the historic centre: Ponte Vecchio with its small shops where it is possible to meet in person Italian artisans and their well-known production techniques and creations.
- Dinner in a restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 7: arrival in VENICE
- Morning arrival in Venice with tour leader.
- Hotel accommodation. Lunch in a restaurant.
- Workshop in a typical Venetian masks shop: participants can get the mask they make to keep a memory of their trip to Venice.
- Dinner in the Hard Rock Café which is located in a typical Venetian style historic building with tasteful decor, wide windows with panoramic views of the canal and a handmade glass chandelier hanging in the center of the restaurant that was made in a famous Murano glass factory.
DAY 8: VENICE
- Guided tour in the heart of the city of Venice: Piazza San Marco and Basilica of San Marco or, in alternative, Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
- Visit to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection after the official closing, escaping queues at the box office.
- Dinner in a restaurant.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 9: RETURN
- Transfer to the airport of Venice Marco Polo and return.
