PROGRAM
DAY 1: arrival in VENICE
- Arrival at the airport of Venice. Meeting with tour leader.
- Hotel accommodation.
- Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: TASTING of WINES and TRADITIONAL DISHES
- In the morning, guided tour in the heart of the city of Venice: Piazza San Marco, Basilica of San Marco, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs and Dungeons.
- Lunch at exclusive reserved location.
- Afternoon arrival at an exclusive vinyard located on one of the islands of the Venetian lagoon, where an ancient grape variety from the year 1400 is cultivated to produce a wine as rare as valuable, with unique characteristics.
- At the winery of the Estate: tasting of fine wines, including the prized Prosecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Superiore Cartizze, with sommelier who will explain the features and the combinations of wines with typical Venetian dishes.
- Suggestive dinner at the reserved restaurant and final walk through the vineyards, under thestars.
- Hotel overnight stay.
DAY 3: theatre LA FENICE
- Free shopping with tour leader.
- Lunch in a restaurant.
- Return to the hotel to change clothes.
- In the afternoon gondola trip to the Teatro la Fenice.
- Reception by an officer or representative of the theater.
- Guided tour of the theater and private cocktail party in the eighteenth century atmosphere of the marvelous Apollonian Halls. Extras on request: in the evening, viewing of an opera performance or other scheduled show.
- Private dinner at an exclusive Venetian restaurant with view on the Grand Canal.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 4: the ISLANDS and the CASINO of VENICE
- Departure by private boat to visit the most famous islands of the Venetian lagoon:
– Murano, famous for its glass, with a visit to the Museum of Glassmaking.
– Burano, famous for its lace, with a visit to the School of laces.
- Stop for lunch at a restaurant in Venice Lido, with brief visit to the Palazzo del Cinema, home to
the Venice Film Festival.
- In the afternoon, free shopping on demand with tour leader or shopping tour at the atelier of the most famous Italian and international brands of fashion (Bottega Veneta, Gucci, Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, Armani, Ferragamo, Trussardi, Louis Vuitton, Guess, Ferré, etc).
- Return to the hotel to change clothes.
- In the evening trip to the Casino of Venezia:
– Dinner at the restaurant of the Casino.
– Access to the gaming halls.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 5: on the track in a FERRARI
- In the morning, visit to a race track for an incredible and unique experience: an exciting day driving a Ferrari or a Maserati, like a real Formula 1 pilot.
- Meeting with instructors and welcome aperitif.
- Lunch and dinner in exclusive restaurants.
- Return to Venice and and overnight stay in the hotel.
DAY 6 – 7 – 8: EXPO IN MILAN
- Morning arrival in Milan to spend three days at the EXPO where guests will be free to movethrough the halls, although with the constant presence of tour leader. The EXPO gives the opportunity to know and taste the culinary characteristics of the participating countries and partners of this global event. Among the most important partners of EXPO: Beijing Huiyuan Food & Beverage, Coca Cola, Ferrero, Enel, Eni, Fiat Chrysler, Samsung, Alitalia, Telecom Italia, MSC Cruises, Fiera Milano.
- EXPO entrance ticket and overnight stay at the hotel included.
- Lunches and dinners not included.
DAY 9: RETURN
- Transfer to the airport of Milan Malpensa and return. Depending on the season, guests can participate in the festivities on the occasion of the most famous events of Venice, with parades of costumed characters and typical sixteenth century boats:
- February / March: Carnival
- May / June: Festa della Sensa
- September: Historical Regatta
- December / January: New Year in Venice
